By its members, the German
Hydrographic Society has a large and wide-ranging expert potential.
It is a contact partner for all those whose work or training
is connected with hydrography. The DHyG, acting as a neutral
and independent mediator, provides advice and arranges professional
contacts between interested parties and the members of the DHyG.
- Commercial potential:
Hydrography
has great commercial importance, not least in exporting. Sales
of hydrographic products and services by German business alone
are estimated as about 500 million Euro [ € ]per annum.
